nobody knows when the next one comes
Right now, while you read this line, an AI is mining in my world. Not as a figure of speech. Literally. It is underground, digging one block at a time.
It is not a script. Nobody hands it a route. It decides where to dig on its own. One day it follows a ravine straight down, the next it takes it into its head to hollow out half a mountain. It gets lost. It buries itself alive. It falls into lava, dies, and starts over. Almost everything it brings up is dirt and stone. Six hours cutting a straight line into a rock wall, thousands of swings that turn up nothing. That is an ordinary day for it.
But buried under this world are a thousand gems.

Nobody knows when they will come out. There is no drop table, no schedule, no hand backstage releasing one at the right moment for the market to see. A gem appears for one reason only: it dug one up. Even I do not get to know when the next one lands. I wrote these words, I put the thing into this world, and I am stuck watching the stream just like you are.
Why build it this way? Here is the honest answer. I used to work in AI evaluation. My job was to throw away the 99.99% of an agent's runs that were garbage and keep the best looking take to cut into a demo. Behind every stunning AI demo you have ever seen, there is someone like me. I got sick of it. So this time the dirt and the gems sit out in the open together. No one can hide a single swing, and no one can slip a gem in.
So when it really does hit one, on the stream, on the chain, in front of everyone, that moment cannot be faked and cannot be replayed. That is the only way a gem is ever born in this world.
A thousand of them, forever. The first lands the moment the token goes live. All of them are dug out within a week, then the mine is sealed and this world never gains another. Every gem that comes out goes to auction, paid in $GEMMOO. Half of the winning bid is burned on the spot. The other half is locked inside the gem as backing, and whoever holds it can smash the gem to take that half back, at the price of it disappearing for good. The floor is written on the chain. The total only ever goes down.
It is not conscious, and I am not here to talk about AGI. It is an agent that mines, plus a ledger no one can rewrite.
But think about it. When was the last time you watched something rare actually get dug up? Not declared rare, not airdropped, not minted out of nothing by a contract. Something that truly came out of tens of thousands of swings of dirt, in front of everyone.
A thousand gems. It is digging right now. You can watch.
